BEET is currently
the only Bournemouth school to have been invited into membership of Quality
English, the organisation of Britain's leading independent language schools.
BEET is accredited by the British Council and the Association
of Recognised English Language Services. We are also members of Quality English.
The International Education Forum and RELSA in Wessex. In 2001, BEET bought
ITTC, the International Teaching and Training Centre, which now operates on
campus in Nortoft Road. ITTC is one of the world's leading teacher training centres, approved by the University of Cambridge for the running of CELTA and DELTA courses. The school building was originally a 19th
century school of great charm and character. Now modernised, the school is
equipped with 15 classrooms, library and bookshop, 2 self-access centres with a
total of 30 multi-media computers on ADSL broadband with free internet and
e-mail services, language laboratory units, video facilities, canteen and
student room The school's medium size allows us to
provide a properly structured learning programme. Yet, at the same time, we are
small enough to guarantee you individual attention. The average age of our
students is 19 to 26 years. There is no upper age limit. We usually have some
students in their 30's and 40's, and older. The minimum age is 17 (in exceptional circumstances we may accept a younger person). Class size is a
normal maximum of 12 students, unless otherwise stated. The average school population is 200 students.
