  About School

  Established in 1989, ETC is a specialised international college

  based in a purpose-built training centre on the West Cliff, very

  close to the town centre. Our aim is to help students to become

  confident in English, to develop their language skills and upgrade

  their specialist subject knowledge.

  The centre offers a wide range of courses, including: General English (Standard and Intensive

  programmes) / IELTS and Cambridge exam preparation /Business English /  Medical English /

  Tourism and Hotel Management English / Military English / University   Foundation / Business

  Studies / Travel and Tourism.

  Students choose ETC because they discover a friendly, relaxed atmosphere in which to study

  ETC is accredited by the British Council and is an official examinations centre for City and

  Guilds, London Chamber of Commerce and Industry Examinations Board and Trinity College

  (London). In March of 2002, ETC won the prestigious "Investors in People" award   for

  excellence in staff and student training and development.

  The college benefits from quiet surroundings and boasts 15 classrooms, a library, modern

  teaching facilities, a café block and enough space to organise some of our lively social

  activities on site. The college is also ideally located for easy access to the beach, the central

  square, the main shopping areas and the main town library.

  Over the years, the college has worked with government offices, international training

  organisations and specialised language travel agencies and welcomed students from all

  walks of life from all over the world.
