 * This Programme is designed to :

   - Make International friends and Have fun

   - Learn English in the class and through exciting activities

   - Explore the English culture through trips / visits

   - Experience Christian Culture with International juniors in      WEC camp

 

 * Who is it designed for :

    -  10 – 15 year old students (Minimum Group Size: 12)

 

 * Programme  (3weeks)

   - English Course (2 weeks) + WEC Camp (1 week)

   * School and Location : :

    - Southbourne School in cooperation with wentworth College which is a well-known

      private English school during the academic year in Bournemouth just two hours from London

      by road or rail.

 

   * Bournemouth is one of England’s finest south coast resorts with a mild climate and a safe,

      secure environment and has a 7 mile sandy beach.The coastline is dramatically picturesque

      whilst inland historic market towns, sleepy villages and patchworks of fields and flowery

      meadows form an unforgettable landscape

   * Programme details:

  English Lesson

   - Breakfast at the school restaurant

   - English lessons for 3 hours (9:00 – 12:30 including break time)

   - The average class size is 13, maximum 15.

    All lessons and activities of the programme are graded according

   to the students experience, ability and language levels of the

   various age groups, with the emphasis on enjoyable learning and

   individual student-care.

     Sports & Leisure Activities

   - Art (painting, clay modeling, tie-dyeing, T-shirt art etc.) & Music     activities

   - Laser Games, Disco party, Singing and Dancing, Barbecue party,     Talent shows

   - Theater visit, Imax Cinema, Treasure Trail

   - Sports : football, cricket, hockey, rugby, basketball, roller blading,     tennis, swimming, gymnastics, netball, athletics, baseball

   - Visits :  Bournemouth beach, town center, museum

  * Dormitory Accommodation

   Students sleep in dormitories, separated according to age and sex, under the supervision of

   school’s resident house staff.

   There are recreation rooms, a television room, a snack room and all the facilities of a fully

   equipped school campus for their learning and leisure activities

   * Excursions (=Trips)

     School offers a variety of excursions to interesting places in southern England such as London,

     Oxford, Winchester, Bath.  We also organize many other activities outside the Centres, including

     beach parties, shopping, barbecues and treasure hunts.

     All our excursions, sport and leisure activities are closely supervised and tailored to the interests

     and abilities of the various age groups.

     Full-Day & Half-Day  trips: 1 per week, included in the Fees

   * About WEC

    WEC stands for Worldwide Evangelisation for Christ, which was

    founded by C.T. Studd about one hundred years ago. WEC

    International lives up to its name! WEC are a fellowship of God's

    people drawn from many national, ethnic and denominational

    backgrounds.

  * Camp Details

                 - Where: Caswell Bay, The Gower, South Wales

Morning Session

Afternoon & Evening Session

  Worship God with 80 or more teenagers. Bring   your own instrument and join the band.

  Relevant Bible teaching on topics or themes,

  which will help you to grow as a Christian.

  Learn and discover together what God is saying

  in the 21st Century. Hear about His work around

  the world and how we can be effective workers

  for Him now.

  Choose from 6-8 activities. Where possible we

  run water sports - e.g. canoeing - tuition provided

  by local qualified and licensed providers. Horse

  riding, mountain biking, sketching, clay -

  modelling, T-shirt decorating, painting or just sit

  and chat. For the technical, or those who fancy

  the limelight, there is radio programming

  learning interview techniques and then putting

  a short programme together.

   * Special Activities: Environmental Learning, Christian Education, Hiking, Arts & Crafts,

                                      Outdoor Cooking, Camping, Campfires, Drama, Games, Singing
